Run!
It wasn't a bad day when we started the ascent above 17,000 feet, nor we received any meteorological data about the storm. We just found a storm in the death zone. Years later, the reaction is still “Run, take cover!”
Hope
A herd of sheep always brought hope among the trekkers in the Himalayan terrain because they indicated that we were nearing a village and, therefore, would find fire. After a long trek, we found sheep crossing a melting glacier. What a timely luck!
